The Sports Vouchers program is an SA Government initiative that assists families in meeting the costs of their children’s sports and recreation activities, by offering up to $200 from January 1, 2025 to go towards membership fees. When used with Seacliff Calisthenics Club, the Sports Voucher aims to make the Sport of Calisthenics more accessible and affordable, for everyone by contributing to the Seacliff Calisthenics Club participation fee.
All children living in South Australia in Reception to Year 9 are eligible to claim Sports Vouchers each calendar year. Please note, that once a Sports Voucher has been redeemed, it cannot be reimbursed as cash, nor can it be transferred to another child. Sports Vouchers cannot be refunded back.
How long will it take to know if my application for a Sports Voucher has been approved?
This is dependent on a range of factors. There is a 14-business day turnaround, but this will depend on when the Club submits the batch of claims.
Can the $200 only be used for membership fees?
Yes, the Sports Vouchers are only redeemable against the Seacliff Calisthenics Club participation fee. Due to the way the Calisthenic Association SA has set up the registration proces, you cannot use a voucher towards registration. Vouchers cannot be used for other purchases or payments.
How will the 2 x $100 Sports Vouchers work?
Families will be able to use 2 x $100 Sports Vouchers per eligible child however, if a Sports Voucher is used for a fee which is less than the Sports Voucher amount, the Sports Voucher is only redeemable up to the value of the fee, with any remaining balance forfeited eg. if using 2 x $100 vouchers for a fee which is $180 , only $180 is claimed and $20 is forfeited).
Can I just use one of the $100 Sports Vouchers or do I need to use both?
Yes, it is ok to just use one $100 voucher with Seacliff Calisthenics Club. The second Sports Voucher can be used with another provider.
Can Sports Vouchers be applied if I have already been invoiced but not yet paid the fees?
Yes. You will need to update your member profile and update the Sports Voucher Section. You also need to email the treasurer and advise you are going to use a voucher(s). The voucher payment when processed will be applied to your invoice as a payment and you will receive a receipt.
Can I claim direct to Sports Vouchers?
Parents cannot go to the Office of Recreation, Sport and Racing and apply for the Sports Voucher – see the link below for more information from their website.

How will I know if the Club has passed the Sports Voucher on to me?
The sports Voucher payment(s) will show on your participation fees invoice as (-$100 values) for each voucher you submitted which has been approved and paid. If your voucher was submitted after invoicing it will be shown as a payment towards the invoice.
How will I know as a parent if our Sports Voucher application has been unsuccessful?
If Sports Vouchers have rejected your application, we will notify you of that outcome. In the majority of cases in our experience the rejection occurs due to Medicare numbers being incorrectly entered during the online registration.
What happens if I want to sign up as a member and doing my free trial sessions?
No fees are payable until you have completed your come-and-try sessions and officially joined Seacliff Calisthenics Club and Calisthenic Association SA as a participant. At this point, you will be able to apply for Sports Vouchers through the online registration process.
If I have paid the fees and then decide I'd like to use a voucher – can I use it and then how does the Club apply it if the fees have already been paid?
If the particiption fee has been paid, there will need to be an adjustment/refund made to the family once their Sports Voucher has been remitted. Note: You are receiving your money back which is being covered by the Sports Voucher.
